Cyclone hit South India |
|
| Over a million people including many Kolping members, are victims of the catastrophe. On 30th December, winds with speed up to 150 kilometres per hour and 7-metre-high waves devastated whole shorelines in Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh. The cyclone raged in the same area which had already been devastated by the tsunami in December 2004. |
