Vocational training strengthens the youth

Cameroon has set itself an ambitious aim: It intends to reach the status of a threshold country until 2035. Yet, much has to be done until that date: About one third of the population lives below the poverty line. The instable situation in the region poses an additional challenge for the country. Many people from Nigeria and the Central African Republic have sought refuge from pursuit in Cameroon.

Kolping in Cameroon

 

The Association in Cameroon was founded in 2007. There are currently 458 members in 18 Kolping Families. The members are highly motivated and meet in their Kolping Families several times a month. Apart from joint conversations and prayers they also conduct projects that focus on:
