Great joy on both sides: In March, Desk Officer Larissa Josowic was able to hand over the diplomas to 20 proud women in Cochabamba, Bolivia, who had successfully completed their training.
The women had undergone further training with Kolping in order to earn their own money in the future with their newly learnt and improved skills. In future, they will work in catering, sell handicrafts they have made themselves or have their own bakery.
In 2024, Kolping was able to train 355 women in Cochabamba alone. Kolping training has a very good reputation, and since last year the Kolping certificate has also been recognised by the Ministry of Education in Cochabamba. Kolping encourages women to take the next step and become self-employed with their business idea. Here too, Kolping supports the women and helps them to purchase tools or materials, for example. Judith T., for example, received a subsidy for her oven when she opened her own small bakery. An investment that has paid off. The business is doing well and Judith now even employs another member of staff.
