KOLPING INTERNATIONAL extends a warm welcome to the newly elected Pope Leo XIV and wishes him strength and God’s blessing for his service to the World Church.
With the choice of his name, he has clearly acknowledged the fundamental importance of the Catholic social teaching, which our association’s founder, Adolph Kolping, helped to shape. And his first speech, dedicated to the message of peace and unity among people, reflects the needs of our time. May Pope Leo XIV become a global bridge builder for peaceful coexistence, social justice, human rights and the protection of our creation.
