From September 16 to 19, 2022 the European Kolping Society met in presence. The Hungarian Kolping Association had invited all European National Kolping Associations to Esztergom, a city north of Budapest on the Slovakian border. General Praeses Christoph Huber had the opportunity to participate in this European meeting for the first time. He gave an interesting keynote speech on crisis management strategies in the Kolping Society.
On three days, the participants deliberated again about amendments to the constitution and exchanged views about the project work in the recent years. In the educational part of the event, the focus was on the topic: What do we learn from crises and how do we strengthen resilience?
Simultaneously to the Continental Convention also the Kolping Youth Europe met. Some program points were carried out together in order to get to know each other better. The next Continental Convention will take place in April 2023 in Novi Sad / Serbia.
