New members of the International Executive Board

Two newly elected members of the International Executive Board from Germany and Uruguay also attended the most recent meeting of the International Executive Board at the end of February.

During the most recent meeting of the International Executive Board of KOLPING INTERNATIONAL, two new members of the International Executive Board were also welcomed, who were newly elected to the committee at the last International Board of Directors‘ meeting: Stephan Stickeler (Germany) and Antonio Silva Noble (Uruguay).

Stephan Stickeler has been involved with Kolping for over four decades. He is particularly committed to international solidarity and One World work. As a long-standing diocesan president in Paderborn and member of the national executive board of Kolping Germany, he brings extensive association experience and international perspectives to the work of the International Executive Board. Antonio Silva Noble from Uruguay has held a management position at Kolping in Latin America for many years. As an economic expert and managing director of Kolping Uruguay, as well as a former member of the International Finance Committee, he has extensive experience in organizational and financial matters.

The International Executive Board also includes Father Dr. Maria Soosai (India), Dancille Mujawamariya (Rwanda), and the members of the International Executive Committee Msgr. Christoph Huber, Karin Wollgarten, and Dr. Markus Demele.

Diversity from different continents

The composition of the International Executive Board of KOLPING INTERNATIONAL deliberately reflects the worldwide community of the Association. Representatives from different continents contribute their respective social, cultural, and ecclesiastical experiences to the deliberations. This diversity enriches the decision-making process and makes it possible to take the different realities of Kolping’s work worldwide into account in an appropriate manner.

Mutual respect and trust

Despite their different cultural backgrounds, the cooperation within the International Executive Board is characterized by great mutual respect and trust. All members are united by the common mission of taking responsibility for the worldwide Kolping community in the spirit of Blessed Adolph Kolping and working together to further develop the Association. This was also evident at this first meeting in its new composition.
