We are celebrating an anniversary! 50 years of professional development cooperation work of KOLPING INTERNATIONAL – plenty of reasons to celebrate!
Our principle of help for self-help has been so successful and sustainable because we strengthen structures and invest in the talents of people. We will start our anniversary year with a Ceremonial Academy in Bensberg near Cologne. As we are living in turbulent times of international migration, of fragile multilateralism and of struggle to find the right path in terms of sustainable development we need to pause for a moment to reflect on our practical work. The Ceremonial Academy will discuss current challenges of value-based development cooperation and identify encouraging perspectives.
