International Kolping Society

The International Kolping Society is a Catholic Lay Association founded by Adolph Kolping and which is now represented in over 60 countries with more than 400,000 members around the world. The Kolping Society promotes through education and activities the development of its members in many fields of the daily life. The International Kolping Society sees itself as a world-wide community of solidarity in which the members and Kolping Families support and promote one another. The main beneficiaries of the Kolping Society’s development co-operation are the Kolping Families in Africa, Asia and Latin America as well as in Middle and Eastern Europe. The Kolping Families in these regions understand themselves as self-help groups, by their activities they want to help people in solving their daily problems.
