KOLPING Romania supports small businesses and their business ideas. KOLPING helped young entrepreneurs in Braᶊov, Covasna and Harghita for two years to write a business plan and to put their goals into practice.
Within the context of the EU-funded project “Entrepreneurship at the center of Romania“, KOLPING Romania invited small and medium-sized enterprises to attend a work meeting in Sumuleu Ciuc at the end of February. More than fifty persons including a business consultant were meeting for a day. Twenty startup companies assisted by Kolping Romania had a chance to present themselves, to exchange experience and to network. Kolping staff help to bundle ideas and projects, they encourage entrepreneurs to cooperate and to exchange ideas.
The companies supported by KOLPING operate in many different areas such as hairdressing, mechanics, embroidery, tourism, clothes for hire, tailoring, construction planning and childcare. There is even an online supermarket for regional products.
