With all their heart, KOLPING INTERNATIONAL and the Kolping Society of Germany congratulate Prelate Heinrich Festing on his 90th birthday.
“Like no other, Heinrich Festing characterized the Kolping work in Germany and internationally in his various functions as Praeses between 1965 and 2002. His 90th birthday is a welcome occasion for us to express our heartfelt thanks to him for his many years of multifaceted pastoral work, and to wish him God’s rich blessing for his further life journey”, says National Praeses Father Josef Holtkotte.
Also the General Praeses of KOLPING INTERNATIONAL gratefully honours today’s jubilarian for his many years of work: “Starting with the Action Brazil, he tirelessly promoted the international expansion of the Kolping Society; we still live off the fruits of his work today”, says Msgr. Ottmar Dillenburg.
The beatification of Adolph Kolping in Rome in 1991 was one of the greatest successes during the term of office of Prelate Heinrich Festing.
