They see where there is a shortage and where distress needs to be relieved. 50 years of engagement for the poorest of the poor means to build up sustainable institutions and structures, to raise funds, to organize encounters, to exercise restraint, and to give a voice to those who are not heard in many of their home countries. However, it also means to come to agreements with those in power, time and again, and to struggle for democratic developments.
