Advent greetings from General Praeses Msgr. Christoph Huber
“At the time of Jesus, people were asking with much uncertainty, with many concerns and often also with great anxiety: “What will happen to us?”. And at that time God sent his prophets to tell their people: “I will not leave you alone. I am by your side. You may expect me in the birth of my son.” We have in our Association the prophet Adolph Kolping who in his time proclaimed this to his followers. Indeed, who bears witness to us to this day. However, it is also up to us today to keep living and passing on this message, to take these questions seriously and to do all we can, with trust in God. So let me wish you a prophetic Advent here from our Kolping monument in Cologne.”
