With his New Year’s address, Msgr. Christoph Huber, General Praeses of KOLPING INTERNATIONAL, wishes all the Kolping Sisters and Brothers worldwide a blessed, healthy and peaceful New Year 2023. True Kolping!
Dear Kolping Sisters, dear Kolping Brothers,
the past year was full of challenges. And it has also brought hardship and misery for many of us. My thoughts are with our Kolping sisters and brothers in Ukraine, in Myanmar and in other parts of the world. The past year was full of challenges. And it has also brought hardship and misery for many of us. My thoughts are with our colleagues in Ukraine, in Myanmar and in other parts of the world.
Thanks to our dedicated efforts, we managed to alleviate a great deal of hardship and suffering, because we stood together united all over the world. And this year, I am happy to say, we will experience this unity in concrete terms at the International Convention here in Cologne, when we assemble from all parts of the world, when we cultivate fellowship and also invite committed people from the surrounding region, from Germany or from other countries to join us in cultivating this fellowship and this community spirit in a Day of Action. And so I look forward to this year full of confidence that we will stick together, that we will help each other again wherever help is needed, that we will strengthen each other through common prayer and that we will experience that we are part of a community that is going through this year together.
I wish you all a blessed New Year.
