KOLPING India supports the state-funded program to promote the health of the population by getting involved in the building of toilets.
In the village of Muthalagupatty near Dindigul there were only three toilets for 8,000 people. Thanks to the initiative of KOLPING another ten toilets and two bathrooms were built. The water is supplied from a well. The Kolping Family and a village committee now make sure that the toilets are kept clean. This is how KOLPING manages that more and more people can assert their right to hygiene, clean water and healthcare.
