Kolping commemoration day

Every year, Kolping Families and those supporting the work of Adolph Kolping get together to commemorate the anniversary of his death on December 4. In as many as sixty countries all over the world, people use this day or the following weekend to remember the life of Blessed Adolph Kolping in religious services and prayers and to thank the Lord for the lasting impact of his work.

Celebrating Holy Mass at the tomb of Adolph Kolping in Cologne’s Minorite Church, Msgr. Ottmar Dillenburg opened the Eternal Prayer on Kolping commemoration day. Many Kolping members came to pray and to stay on in the evening for a social gathering.
