Premiere in Myanmar: For the first time in its history, KOLPING Myanmar was able to announce its “Kolping Award“ for 29 students from Taunggyi, Loikaw and Pekhon, who receive a scholarship from Kolping to go to college. All of them were granted this award for their “Matriculation Exam 2020”, independently of their school performance.
This prize is meant to be both a reward and a motivation for their future school career. The youngsters were happy about receiving this award and talked about the dream job they want to have such as becoming medical doctors, engineers or teachers. Thanks to the scholarship programme of KOLPING Myanmar, they have got the chance to receive more than just a basic education and to qualify for an academic profession.
