In his New Year’s address, Msgr. Christoph Huber, General Praeses of KOLPING INTERNATIONAL, wishes everyone around the world a happy, healthy and blessed New Year 2024.
Dear Kolping sisters and Kolping brothers,
The New Year has begun – some express their wishes, others tend to make resolutions for the New Year. I would like to recommend to you today that we take Adolph Kolping, our father of the journeymen – as he is virtually approaching us here behind us – as our guide for the New Year. We all know that he went his way with trust in God and with courage, with commitment and with strength. The path alongside the poor, alongside the journeymen. I wish you, I wish myself and all of us that we will spend this year together in this spirit, that we will value the worldwide solidarity that we experience in the global Kolping Family world and that we will make it visible for a happy New Year, which will hopefully be a better year for many people. With this in mind, I wish you all the best for the coming year here from Adolph Kolping’s tomb in the Minorite Church.
