During the first International Women Conference in Hungary, Kolping members showed how empowered women contribute to a stronger society. The aim of the three day conference was to show current constraints imposed on women globally and locally and suggest ways of improving the lives of women and mothers.
Together with academics, journalists and psychologists, the participants first challenged the current position of women in society and second discovered opportunities on how to tackle common problems of women and mothers in daily life.
Overall, the Conference was a huge success and emphasized the importance of empowering women for empowering the whole society.
