Lithuania is affected by a major migration of young people as a result of the high unemployment in the country. The country also suffers from the austerity policy imposed due to the economic crisis. Nevertheless, the Kolping members take action to promote in particular young people.
Kolping in Lithuania
Kolping Lithuania was founded in 1993. The social activities of the 29 Kolping Families and 350 members are aimed at people of all ages.
Success story Kolping College
Since 1996 emerging talents can enroll in the Kolping College in Kaunas, the second largest city in Lithuania. Urbane people with a gift for languages can also select various degree courses in English. It is possible to study business administration, finance, international economy and social work. Several hundred persons annually graduate here. Congratulations!
