Canada is the second largest country in the world and also one of the richest. This is not least due to the country’s mineral resources. The forestry industry also plays an important role. In the 20th century, Canada developed from an agricultural state to an industrial nation and a welfare state. Canada was and is an immigration country. Due to the French and British colonial rule, both languages, English and French, are still spoken, especially in the densely populated southeast of Canada.
Kolping in the field
The National Association of Kolping Canada was founded in 1960. Today it still has 167 members, organized in six Kolping Families. Among other things, there is a partnership with Kolping El Salvador.
