In early July, delegates of several African Kolping Societies were meeting online to discuss the latest developments. They came to a sad conclusion:
COVID-19 cases are on the rise in most countries on the continent. Lockdowns and restrictions are posing major challenges for those who are vulnerable and at increased risk. But now the virus is spreading in the villages and in remote areas where there is little or no medical infrastructure at all. And there are no vaccines in sight!
