International Executive Board meets on site again

After two years marked by the coronavirus pandemic, the International Executive Board was finally able to meet again in Cologne.

Kolping members from Germany, Switzerland, Vietnam, Honduras and Rwanda sat around the same table – it’s been a long time since there was such an international gathering at the General Secretariat in Cologne! The members of the International Executive Board of KOLPING INTERNATIONAL were therefore all the more delighted to finally be able to meet again in person for an exchange of views.

At their meeting in early June, they discussed many issues that are relevant for the association globally as well as the current situation in the world with reports from the continents, a live connection to Ukraine, French as another official language of our association, the financial statements for 2021, the suggestion from Brazil to initiate a World Youth Day, regulations to prevent violence and abuse, and the participation of KOLPING INTERNATIONAL in the Pope’s synodal process.
